961 Packing Hook Fit
Device
This fixture is designed to use the ALI 4.401 laser receiver to measure packing type bore diameters from
approximately 8” to 48”. It is self aligning in that it is always
perpendicular to the laser beam when the fixture is placed in the bore and
tightened on the packing hook while being held against the steam face. It
is also a “hands free” device because the operator does not have to
hold it in place while data is being downloaded by the System2. Another
function is that it can be “calibrated” to a specific bore size and
the variations in diameter will be displayed as “Yc” in the System2.

962 Long Laser Mount
This fixture is used to mount the ALI 4.330 ULA Laser emitter. It provides a quick and reliable means of
setting the laser beam on the horizontal and vertical centerline of the
unit. It requires a customer supplied angle iron or steel plate to be
clamped to the horizontal joint of the unit. The laser mount is clamped
directly to this material which establishes the horizontal centerline of
the unit at the laser. The mount has pitch and yaw adjustment capability
(coarse and fine) for setting the beam at the far end of the unit. Typical
setup time is less then 1 hour for beam lengths of over 100 ft. It is also
possible to remove the ULA emitter from the mount for storage without
having to repeat the initial setup on the laser.

963 Laser Receiver Support (3 pcs.)
These fixtures are used to mount both the
ALI 4.301 emitter and the ALI
4.401 receiver. They are placed in the unit on customer supplied angle
iron clamped to the horizontal joint of the unit. With this functionality,
the control sensor and emitter can easily be moved along the unit. This
allows the use of two short laser lines without having to disturb the ULA
laser mount.

964 Large
Bore Fixture
The large bore fixture utilizes the ALI 4.401 receiver for both “Tops On” and “Tops Off” alignment. It
is capable of measuring bores from 18” to 20 ft. diameter that do not
have packing hooks machined in the bores. It is also considered a “hands
free” fixture. When it is “calibrated” to a specific bore size, the
variations in diameter are displayed as “Yc” in the System2.
